An exclusive dining experience for TikTok’s VIP clients, brought together for an evening of education + entertainment. 

Rather than traditional canapés, guests arrived to pre-dinner cocktails and grazing station inspired by on-platform trend #GirlDinner (2.6B views). Hosted by @cripndip, famous for her own version of ‘Girl Dinner’ and her cocktail making content. Introducing guests to the wealth of talent uniquely available on TikTok through integrated Creator collaborations. The food-station design included menus by fellow Creator @artbyfreddie and beautiful food sculptures made from classic #GirlDinner items as an alternative to florals.

Utilising projection throughout the space as an opportunity to elevate TikTok’s brand guidelines, creating dynamic animated sequences that featured comments from the Creators’ own channels, changing throughout the evening inline with the event programming. 

Guests were guided through the space by a light installation evocative of on-platform collaboration. Programming included a presentation and a Q&A with ‘Queen of #Potatok’ Poppy O’Toole (@Poppycooks), who discussed her experience starting her channel during lockdown, the opportunities TikTok has given her and introducing the menu she had curated for the evening.

The dining table design included; custom high gloss black tables, custom hand dyed napkins by Stain Shade and English-grown florals, surrounded by bespoke silver draping. As a playful touch, back to product and platform, custom dinner plates were printed with real comments from @poppycook’s content, highlighting the incredible experience guests were being treated to as comments included users desperate to try her viral food, as well as showcasing the humour and overall personality of TikTok’s community. Taking inspiration from TikTok’s ongoing obsession with butter, guests’ names were engraved onto butter knives alongside individual butter bows. Seeding conversation starters through cute, thoughtful details. 

The evening concluded with an intimate musical performance by singer + SoundOn Creator, Cat Burns and DJ + TikTok Creator Krystal Lake. Personalised luxury gift hampers were posted directly to guests homes as a final touchpoint.
